The children at Great Bedwyn School benefit from lots of interaction with the local community.
Many of the villagers visit the school regularly to hear readers, support school events and to enhance the curriculum.
The children visit the local church for services and to support concerts and events with the Millennium Choir which is based in the village. Great Bedwyn School Choir also sings at local residential homes.
We have strong links with all the schools in the Marlborough Cluster and our teachers visit each other on a regular basis. The children of Great Bedwyn have the opportunity to play music and sport with their peers from the Cluster. Sometimes this is of a competitive nature and sometimes this is of a collaborative nature.
