Blue Cross charity came in and taught us about very important dog safety.
Rabbi Zvi joined us and talked about Shabbat. We even tried some yummy challah bread and grape juice.

Look at these wonderful Easter bonnets! Well done Year 1, you must have been very busy at home.
We have loved cooking this term and have learnt lots of new skills, including cutting and peeling.
Look at our ‘mirroring and matching’ poses we did during gymnastics.
Year 1 have been learning how to cross roads safely!
During Values week we looked at love and then we created some beautiful stained glass windows.

Tammy Johnston (one of our Mummies and a local author) came in on the first day of December to read her book, Elmo’s Christmas Tail, then we painted pictures from the story. Isn’t our artwork fantastic!
We would like to give a warm welcome to Miss Pearce who is visiting us from Bath Spa University, and she will be with us until the end of January.
Year 1 Forest School- There was thunder in the woods today, so we had Forest School in our outdoor learning area at school instead. We used clay and other natural objects to make animals from the story ‘Giraffes Can’t Dance’.
