In Class 3 we have been studying Divali. As part of this, we held a Divali morning on Tuesday 17th October. All the children and staff came in on that morning in Divali celebration dress. We took part in exciting cooking and craft activities and experienced what it would be like to be a Hindu celebrating Divali.
We have been creating mixed media artwork inspired by Japanese artist Hokusai, which was displayed in St Mary’s Church for the Great Bedwyn Art Festival.
On 21st September, we went to Forest School for the day. In spite of the rain, we had a brilliant time making dens, modelling clay, role playing and discovering more about the animals who live in the forest.
