Eating in School

Hot school meals may be purchased online from Sue Brady Catering via their website.

Meals must be ordered from Sue Brady via their website before 12pm on the Thursday of the previous week.  To claim Free School meals for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children, please contact the School Office to obtain the necessary code.

Packed lunches may be brought in from home. We try to make the mealtime a pleasant and social experience. Please make sure children have their drink in an unbreakable container. Fizzy drinks are NOT suitable as they are liable to be shaken up in transit.

Sue Brady have provided us with a list of allergens in their menus, both for hot meals and sandwiches (Autumn term 2018).  Please click on the images to enlarge them.

Through a Government scheme, KSI children will be provided with a snack at playtime. KSII children may bring a snack for mid-morning break – preferably a piece of fruit.

Sweets and crisps should be kept for home consumption.

Free school meals

All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to Universal Infant Free School Meals.  If you are receiving a qualifying benefit, the School could also be entitled to an extra £1,300 pupil premium to support your child.

The Wiltshire Council application form for free school meals can be downloaded and printed from here, or you can ask in the School Office for a copy.

Please tell your child to let the dinner ladies know if they don’t like a certain item on that day’s choice: please do not phone the office or Sue Brady.  Thank you.

School Milk

Our school provides a milk scheme that is available to all of our pupils.  School milk is free for all under-fives and is subsidised for pupils aged five or older.

To register your child, please visit or download a form to return to Cool Milk here.

If your child is under 5, just register by a Tuesday 5pm for your child’s free milk to start the following week.  Free milk will continue until the Friday before your child’s fifth birthday.  You will receive a payment request three weeks before this time – if you wish your child to continue to receive school milk, simply make a payment.

If your child is over 5, complete a registration form or register online.  Shortly after registering you will receive a payment request.  You can pay Cool Milk either online, over the phone, at a local PayPoint or by cheque in half-termly, termly or annual instalments.  Please pay by Tuesday 5pm for your child’s milk to start the following week.

If your child receives free school meals (not Universal Infant Free School Meals), they are also entitled to free milk.  If you would like your child to receive milk please contact the school office to arrange this.
