Education must be a partnership between home and school.
The degree of support which you give to the school indicates to your child the value which you place on their time spent here. If you are ever unsure about any aspect of our work, please discuss it with us first before it becomes a problem.
Parents’ Evenings will be held twice a year, but members of staff are usually available to talk to parents after school. Along with Government guidelines you will be given the Home School Agreement which we hope you will support and sign.
Many parents help in school: sharing books with children, helping with supervision of craft activities, cookery and games. If you are interested in helping in any way have a chat with your child’s teacher.
All volunteers must now be police checked. The forms to start the DBS check process can be collected from the school office. You will need to bring in two forms of identification such as a passport, driving licence, birth or marriage certificate and some proof of where you live such as a utility bill or bank statement. You will be issued with a password to fill in your details online before the DBS check can be carried out. Once you receive your certificate, please bring it into the School Office.
